Accountabilities
- Teach assigned paralegal and some criminal justice courses online.
- Prepare course materials in Blackboard by designated deadlines.
- Provide 12-14 hours of instruction per week, facilitating discussions and grading.
- Respond to student inquiries within 48 hours.
- Update grade books weekly and provide detailed feedback on assignments.
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
- Utilize active learning strategies and support diverse learning needs.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate required; PhD preferred.
- Three years of experience in higher education within the last ten years.
- Expertise in the subjects taught.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with online teaching technologies and best practices.
- Ability to engage and motivate students in an online setting.
