Accountabilities

    • Teach assigned paralegal and some criminal justice courses online.
    • Prepare course materials in Blackboard by designated deadlines.
    • Provide 12-14 hours of instruction per week, facilitating discussions and grading.
    • Respond to student inquiries within 48 hours.
    • Update grade books weekly and provide detailed feedback on assignments.
    • Participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
    • Utilize active learning strategies and support diverse learning needs.

Requirements

    • Juris Doctorate required; PhD preferred.
    • Three years of experience in higher education within the last ten years.
    • Expertise in the subjects taught.
    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
    • Familiarity with online teaching technologies and best practices.
    • Ability to engage and motivate students in an online setting.
